I noticed that I didn’t go to CVS much last week. All the deals I was getting was from Rite-Aid. But I did go last week and get some Cheerios, Irish Spring and Excedrin. I am not even sure why I didn’t post. I guess it was just that I was going so much to Rite-Aid to get their winter bonus rewards.
Anyway, after last week I had a total of $12 in ECB’s from them. I don’t even want to get into how the cashier took off my 20% coupon when I asked her repeatedly not to. I wanted to wait for Sunday to use the bonus on my Olay. But, that didn’t happen. OK, well that is history. I did wind up getting 2 huge bottles of CVS lotion for about $3. I guess because I had the bad experience, I didn’t want to talk about it. If that makes any sense. =)
Here is what I purchased Sunday:
3 $2 off 2 Olay Body Washes
1 $2 off 2 Glade Air Fresheners
1 $1 off Glade Air Freshener CVS Printer
1 $.75 cents off of 2 Snickers
1 $1 off 3 any size Reese’s products
4 $.50 cents off Dawn Dish Washing Soap
Now, I knew that I would have to spend about $10 out of pocket for the Olay but I wanted it. I have been using the Irish Spring that I have been getting and it has been leaving me skin so dry that I wanted something with moisturizers in it to use instead. Plus, I knew I would be getting back the $10 ECB on it for spending the $30. So, this was still I great shopping trip for me.
I got back $11.86 in ECB’s for the next trip making the total on this one – $6.10.
