We love orange juice in this house. Can’t get enough of it really. I don’t think there is a time you can open my fridge and not find a bottle there. It’s one of our favorite fruit juices. But, when we pick an orange juice in the store, we don’t pick those watered down substitutes, we pick out 100% pure Florida Orange Juice. One of the brands we like the most is Tropicana Orange Juice. I don’t think I could imagine a breakfast with out a tall glass of OJ. It’s a great way to start the day!
We usually wake up here and have our breakfast with a glass of orange juice. Most Sunday’s we like to have a big gathering for breakfast and have some OJ with it. I can’t imagine having breakfast with out it. My girls love the taste and I love that the oranges come from Florida. Sometimes it’s hard during the week, with work and school to sit down to a breakfast together. Everyone is in a rush to get somewhere. But we always have time for our orange juice. That’s why I try to make it a point to have our breakfasts together around our table on the weekends. Nothing says love like the home cooked goodness of scrambled eggs, home fries, bacon, toast and orange juice! One of our favorites is the delicious taste of Tropicana Pure Premium Orange Juice!
One of the great things about Tropicana Pure Premium Orange Juice is you can find out all about their growers! Isn’t it fantastic. Now you can see where your oranges come from and meet the family’s that grow them!
Here is some great things to learn about Tropicana:
*Tropicana Pure Premium is 100% Pure Florida Orange Juice.
*Tropicana is the single largest buyer of Florida fruit, purchasing approximately 11.6 billion oranges from Florida each year.
*Tropicana uses groves in 22 different Florida counties, primarily in central and southern Florida.
*The different microclimates and soil types mean that fruit reaches peak maturity at different times, allowing Tropicana to harvest ripe fruit throughout the entire growing season.
*The two major orange types in Tropicana Pure Premium are Valencia and Hamlin. Valencias typically have more intense color and flavor, while Hamlins can be sweeter. They each add unique characteristics to the TPP blend.
*Many Florida growers sample oranges by cutting them into a cup shape, allowing for drinking juice directly from the fruit.
*Tropicana’s roots in Florida go back a long way. Some of its current grower relationships date to the 1960s.
*Oranges have been grown in Florida since the 1560s, approximately 147 years before any other U.S. state.
