Winchell Mountain Coffee Valentine’s Day Review & #Giveaway – The Boynton Collection!

Oh, how me and my husband LOVE coffee. It’s a must in our house. We go through a lot of it. I secretly think my husband would die with out it. We make at least two pots of coffee a day. Yes, I know but we run on it. We were recently introduced to Winchell Mountain Coffee and I am glad we got to try it out for ourselves.

We tried the Country Morning blend first and fell in love with the flavor. Winchell Mountain Coffee is specially blended and created by master roaster Bob Rivkin. Who creates these enjoyable blends of coffee. He has started working with cartoonist Sandra Boynton to create some delicious blends with illustrations by Sandra on the packages. They came up with The Boynton Collection. And they are simply great!

We got to try Country Morning, Beach Blend, Wide Awake and their special Valentine’s Day blend. Each were flavorful and great tasting. We really are enjoying our coffee. The Country Morning flavor has a nice smooth tastes while the beach blend is more of a relaxing almost a hint of chocolate flavoring to it. Wide Awake is a stronger blend and helps you open up those eyes. The Valentine’s Day blend is a another smooth flavor. Our favorites were the Wide Awake and Valentine’s Day. Both of those were a bit stronger and have the most flavor to us. All in all we really liked these coffee’s and any of them are a great coffee to have.

Here is some information on their coffee:
* They use beans from all around the world and will not accept a shipment until that harvest has been sampled repeatedly, both in its raw green form and in its roasted form.
* With these carefully selected beans, they create exclusive blends like the more rare single origin coffees called yrgacheffe. Yrgacheffe is a region of Ethiopia and rumored to be where the first coffee bean came from.
* They roast their coffee in the old old-world tradition, only utilizing heat and hands
* They are obsessed with quality and will throw entire roasts away if the beans are not sampled perfectly.
* One-way goglio valve bags vacuum pack the beans so consumers are guaranteed the absolute freshness. Using this technology there is no air whatsoever entering the beans to spoil their integrity so the bags have a healthy shelf life of up to six months.
